Kim Seok-jin, better known in his music career by his stage name Jin, is a South Korean singer, actor, songwriter and dancer. Debuted as a member of the group BTS (also known as Bangtan Boys) in June 2013.

In 2018, he was awarded por Order of Cultural Merit  by the President of South Korea along with the other BTS members for their contributions to a korean culture. Jin was born  on December 4, 1992 in Gwacheon,  Gyeonggi, South Korea. While in high school, Seokjin was approached by the South Korean agency SM Entertainment  on the street, but he rejected the offer at the time Initially, he intended to be an actor, then attending a konkuk university  and majoring in art and acting on Feb 22, 2017.
